Golden Gecko Coffee

I used to visit this restaurant occasionally after my cats' vet appointments and I loved the Star Wars theme. It had been a while since my last visit, but I was in the area so I decided to stop by for some ice cream. I was extremely disappointed to find that the Star Wars theme was no longer present. This was the one thing that set this place apart and made it special. Now it just feels like a generic coffee shop. To make matters worse, they only had chocolate and vanilla ice cream - none of the unique flavors they used to offer. Great little shop right around the corner from me. Very interesting mix of modern coffee shop culture with the Aussie delicacies and Star Wars theme at play! Honestly, I love to see people bring things that they enjoy to work, it truly bleeds through on the customer experience.All of the staff have been super helpful and approachable. My go to’s are always one of the danishes, a breakfast sandwich and an iced chai tea. Can’t go wrong! See you guys soon. 8/10!

Love this place. Such a unique vibe and the best breakfast sandwiches the pesto one is my favourite. They have really strong coffee even their decaf feels like it gives a bit of a kick. Wouldn't recommend the sweet pastries flavours are a bit off the mark and from my experience have been a tad dry.

Great iced coffee and kids loved the icecream. Clean atmosphere and friendly staff...baby threw his sister's lip balm and they have it in lost and found. I'm meant to return lol ?

I discovered this restaurant in 2017 when they were at a different location near Baby Point. They are still just as good as ever, and the staff are so friendly.

I visited a new cafe today and was blown away by their incredible variety of pastries. You must try their amazing Almond Croissants - they are outstanding!
