We went there for a friend's birthday. It was a great experience. Our server was lovely. Unfortunately we were not able to seat at their nice tables where you take your shoes off I believe? But the actual restaurant was fun. The young lady serving us was so lovely. We ordered Sake Bombs not knowing there's a whole thing to it where you gotta yell and bang on the table but it was fun to do. We only order a few appetizers to share amongst us three but were surprised at the price. The food was all good save for one chicken dish we were expecting to be hot but it was cold and a little pink inside though I think it was fine.We want to go back again when the restaurant is fully open maybe on a Fri...
The food was alright, nothing special, but at least it was not overly pricey.We were a table of 5 on a Sunday evening. After a long wait 4 of our appetizers came out, the last one came probably half an hour later. Our drinks also took a long time, came after the first round of apps. Also not everyone got what they ordered.The ambiance is alright, there is a variety of seating, but the music was way too loud and didn't fit the ambiance at all.In my opinion the place is not super bad, but there are so many better options in the neighbourhood.
food and drinks were super yummy. we got the $38 set menu and everything that we was pretty yum. the food was pretty expensive for the serving size, but quality was good. overall, we had a good timeVegetarian options: not the best place to stop if you're vegan/vegetarian. they had a few vegetarian options. they could have more. I wish they had a specific vegan/vegetarian set menu.
