What a little gem this place is, we noticed lots of people leaving here with large paper wraps and cartons of delicious smelling food, so we thought we should give it a try. We were not disappointed, we had a Family pack for 2, which contained 2 pieces of Cod (which we had superbly battered), 6 crumbed calamari, that was cooked to perfection and enough chips to feed an army. It was delicious I would say the best fish and chips I have had for a long time. Cost was $25.00, which I class as excellent value for what we had. Service was good and staff friendly, you can eat in but we chose to head to the beach to devour our scrumptious goodies. 10/10 Golden Grill
Called in here for lunch with the family, Cafe was half full. We had fish and chips and burgers. Burgers were good, full of salad and homemade patty, although the patty was much smaller than the bun, bread nice and fresh. Chips and fish very good, not oily. Service was quick, Coffee was weak which was disappointing. Sugar on tables, looked like it was in old parmesan cheese containers, really think packet sugar is much more hygienic option. Overall food was good and reasonably priced.
My fiance and i are locals, we had some chores to do and lunch was needed. The premises was modern, fun and funky, the food - a chicken burger and a bacon and egg burger were Amazingly Good. Our burgers were tasty, fresh, great value ($9.50 each) and we will return! A nice touch was when we had finished a staff member/ manager?stopped by the table and asked how our burgers were. Good stuff!
Had an impromptu lunch here and we were really impressed with not only the price but the quality of the food, drinks and service. We were the only customers in the restaurant at the time but we were super impressed with how quickly our meals arrived. The service was really friendly and they really know how to make a great cup of tea. We will most definitely eat here again when we return.

Looking for food one Monday night when most were closed I saw a lot of people standing and sitting around the front of this cafe. If there are lots of people it means that the food must be good. Not disappointed had to wait awhile but you know how your order is going as you see the fresh ingredients getting put together ready for the cooking. I like that they cook from fresh.
Had lunch here a couple of times during a trip to Golden Beach, and had to leave quite a lot of food as there was a lot dished up on the plate. I liked the fact that I was asked whether I wanted my fish grilled, crumbed or battered, as a choice, and also that there was service with a smile.
We walked here from Caloundra on a lovely sunny day, a perfect walk and enjoyed a coffee each and shared a piece of carrot and date loaf. Coffee was very good loaf tasty but thankfully butter came with it as it was a bit over cooked and dry. very pleasant waitress.
This is a very good little coffee spot. Meet your friends here and just chill! Great service, very friendly. Good parking right beside the cafe.

Food was nice. Husband found chicken burger slightly dry. Garden salad was nice and chips are nice . Close to beach Walking distance from hotels
Good range of fish. But mine was soggy for some reason. I ordered the best fish they had. Stick to fish n chips here
