Golden Leaf Bistro

I visited this restaurant for the first time and had a wonderful summer evening on the patio. The service was outstanding, the food delicious, and the live music was perfect. It's a great spot to hang out with friends, whether you prefer drinks on the patio or enjoying the lovely atmosphere indoors. I particularly loved the spinach crab dip and the mandarin orange salad—highly recommend them! The space is beautiful both inside and on the patio. I even took a tour of the private dining area, which can accommodate larger parties. Definitely check it out; we will definitely be returning!

My husband and I recently decided to check out Golden Leaf Bistro for date night since we're new to the area. The food was fantastic, and our server was lovely. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, the quality definitely justifies it—the chef is incredibly talented. The only downside was the table we were seated at; it felt a bit isolated, almost like we were being punished! But to be fair, we did not have a reservation. Despite that, we've found our new go-to spot for date night, and next time we’ll be sure to book a table in advance. We highly recommend this place!

We made reservations at this restaurant to begin our wedding week, and we couldn’t have chosen better. The owner was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to meet our needs. Our server, Tonni, was outstanding! I highly recommend this place for any special occasion. Just be sure to coordinate everything with Ali, and you’ll have an amazing experience! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and it was the perfect start to our celebrations in Danville!

The $5 mimosas and Bloody Marys during brunch are definitely a great value, but the rest of the menu feels overpriced for what you receive. The poached eggs in the Eggs Benedict were overcooked, and the hollandaise sauce was quite sparse. Since I ordered it vegetarian, there was no ham, but they could have included spinach or at least been more generous with the sauce. On the positive side, the atmosphere is charming, and the service is friendly. Réservez une table maintenant

Delicious food. The menu was a little deceptive. I got Caesar salad and salmon. The price for salad was around $9. Add salmon $13. Normally the price in other restaurants would be $13. Adding salmon was an additional $13. Service was good.

During our visit, it was quite hot inside the restaurant. The food was tasty, but I found it to be overpriced. There were no meal choices available for $20 or less, and the quality of the ingredients didn’t seem to justify the high prices.
