The chicken was breaded and soggy , the sauce was water thin and looked like stained water , rice was hard and swimming in water . We decided to try Golden Star since our usual restaurant is closed on Wednesdays, and it turned out to be a big mistake. The food was quite disappointing! I ordered Kung Pao chicken, but the vegetables were overcooked and mushy, and the sauce was more like a bland brown gravy instead of being spicy. The chicken pieces were tough and chewy. It was really unappetizing! The egg rolls and crab rangoon were served cold, and the orange chicken came without any sauce at all! Overall, it felt very generic and low quality. I would recommend steering clear of this place!
food was not good, spare ribs were rubbery and had no sauce on them. General tso sauce was on the bottom with chicken placed on top. pork fried rice was not cooked right at all, egg rolls lacked flavor. extremely disappointed on quality all around will not be ordering again.
