as noted by others, the ambiente and the view of the beautiful golf course is a highlight. on a lukewarm summer evening during the week we met around quarter before eight. the outside terrace was well half occupied. the service also came in reasonable time, but was not able to accept the beverage and eating order at the same time, although we had already chosen. that the drinks were brought only after almost half an hour is not optimal. only then we could order. the appetizers, a bark consomme and a pumpkin soup were both very weak and that at a higher price. the main dishes were an salad plate with unfortunately completely drunk salad for my wife. my son had a winter cod that was ok, maybe...
great view...Golfhotel .but eating is much too expensive for what it is. Once good, once bad.Come on to who just cooks.But the price is always the same,no matter how it tastes.It always serves someone else.A glass wee the,the water someone else.Many chicimicky......Nothing behind.It's also a nice place.... We won't eat there anymore.Maybe on the terrace,a coffee in the summer,if not so many want to be rich,because I'm playing golf.You know it from other golf hotel just differently.
we are more frequent there because we are there occasionally for golf training. together with friends we often sit on the terrace. the look is great. the ambiente is, as already described by some schicki micki. the level is not reached, neither service nor eating. we usually eat the burger. that tastes very good. the prices are too high for me, too.Total score two stars plus one for the look.
already at 9 o'clock on a normal working day, neither fresh rolls nor fresh bread available. old rolls badly baked. flutes as a broth substitute. nicely dried, response of the staff "since 7 o'clock it's hold". mouch on sausage, because not covered. no demand for further coffee or other. breakfast spice badly roasted, lying in your own juice, instead of crispy.

in the golf hotel in St.Wendel you can always eat well. the map offers a very exquisite selection of arranged. from the jakobsmuschelen via rinderfilet and creme brülee everything is there. it is cooked at high level. the wine selection is very large and the device is very tasteful. in summer you can sit outside on the terrace and watch the golfers.
the kitchen of the restaurant has inspired us kulinarisch. maronensuppe and carpaccio from the gänsebrust were already top-class! the goose bumps and the pickled ochsenbäckchen were overhanging! with wonderful weather we could still enjoy the great winter landscape.
fantastic views of the golf course. a beautiful evening with fine asparagus on the terrace. very nice and attentive service. eat fine. despite later hour and actually closed kitchen, we are still served a dessert.

on our last visit, we would unfortunately be disappointed. our food has not really been fit.
you could starve and thirst there.The service is a catastrophe and not for the first time.
