Recently they installed a new fancy Electronic Cash register and it's set up (programmed) to add a service fee to your order. My order was take out and was surprised that 4 breakfast tacos and a drink came out to 15 dollars.. No heads up, sign posted or disclosure of the hidden service fees they add to your purchase. Very dishonest and unethical establishment for taking advantage of there customers. In the future I'll go next door to Cherry Top at least I will know that I won't get scammed.
I ordered the chicken and beef fajita tacos in both corn and flour tortillas. Unfortunately, the chicken was dry and tough, indicating it was overcooked. The beef fajitas were also chewy and tough, lacking any sear on the meat and appearing to be steam-cooked. The salsas were watery and lacked flavor, making the overall experience disappointing. It just wasn't worth it.
I tried the chicken, beef fajita tacos, and picadillo tacos. Unfortunately, the chicken and beef fajita tacos were very dry and lacked flavor. The salsas were also bland and didn’t have any spiciness to them. The picadillo tacos had a spongy texture, suggesting that they contained some sort of filler. Will I return? No. The total cost for five tacos was $17.
This restaurant truly serves delicious tacos, priced at $3.75 each, and they're definitely worth it. You can request rice and beans at no extra charge. I visited today, and I've been there about five or six times; the food is consistently fresh. They make the flour and corn tortillas by hand, and they're excellent! Réservez une table maintenant
If you find yourself on the southeast side of Houston, make sure to visit this meat market. They serve up some amazing tacos, homemade beans, and fresh flour tortillas. You won’t be disappointed! I’ll be sure to take a picture the next time I go.
The food was tasty, but they were quite stingy with the salsa, and I never received my lemon. Considering the prices, it's frustrating. I guess I'll just have to hope that Cherry Top is open next time.
I've been visiting this place for years. The mollejas tacos are my favorite, and Gonzales serves the best ones around!
Stopped in for some Tacos they were bomb especially the Chicharrón and the asada puerco. Réservez une table maintenant
