When I first walked in with my friend..the place was packed and it was only lunch time! I didn't think we would get a seat but they managed to squeeze us in. The servers were quick on taking our order but the menu selection was so big we needed at least 10 mins to figure out what we wanted. Nonetheless..they were very patient and didn't rush us. When looking at the menu the dishes seemed a little overpriced but when we got our food,holy cow!..the portions were HUGE. Have ordered delivery from Good Buddy a number of times. Always use the online ordering which is convenient and pretty user friendly. As is typical of an average Canadian-Chinese restaurant the menu is a mile long. There really isn't anything truly special or creative on the menu. If you are looking for standard fare Canadian-Chinese food you'll be happy. They do a good job with the salt and pepper squid, beef with green pepper, garlic gailan and Bok Chou, and pretty much all of their dishes. My Chinese friends & I regularly visit this place whenever I'm in town. The taste of the food is pretty good especially the spicier dishes. There are photos of Martin Yang which goes to show their passion for good food. The service, while they try to make it good, can be a bit brash (I'd attribute to the high client turnover). The portions are large and most times we end up not being able to eat it all among a group of guys. Prices are reasonable. Can get very busy. The decor shows use - not a fine dinning location if that's an ambiance being sought. Just good food Cantonese style.

Big line up for mothers day, staff over stressed, not enough. Food portions were great. Original waitress disappeared, drinks were a little slow, had to re-order shrimp, at end of meal, very thick batter, panko would have been great.. Overall,,,8/10, as place was very busy, and quality didn't suffer. My boyz had a problem with a soup, not spicy enough, and the pineapple pork chops were nothing but fat. Giving high scores, because food was good, service was exceptional, considering the "day"!
Been to this restaurant many many times excellent service and very friendly owner. Mostly Cantonese dishes , huge amount and delicious dishes.. We like the beef and gai lan the most . Chinese vegetables and beef We order dinner for four for six people and still there are left over. They have a extensive Chinese menu and each dish mostly very tasty. Very busy during dinner hours , go early get a table before full capacity.
Just ordered a meal for 6, came timely, delivered to my door, was fresh food, hot, reasonably priced and had a really good home made taste. I was very impressed would certainly call them again. Really liked the sweet and sour pork but not quite enough for 6 when it tastes so good.
New to the area, looking for our Go To Chinese Restaurant. Have now found it! Good Buddy actually understood our order, prepared per our request, delivered it on time. Food was very tasty and hot. We will order for delivery again. Thank you for a job well done.

close to home and saw it packed for dim sum one sat. so decided to try.. as good as and similar priced as too al other dim sum places we go.. food was all fresh so I would rate it in top 5 city.. I'll be back
