We drove through Huston on the way back to Lake Palestine from the spending of the day on Galveston Island... this place had great reviews and they served gourmet hot dogs! What? We thought we couldn't go wrong. We went away a few minutes and I'm glad we did. We had a party of 6 with 4 children, so the family games they had to offer were perfect while we were waiting. They had our meals fast and everything was delicious! Her spices are all homemade and her ranch dressing was for dying!! I loved everything about the place... if you're in the area, do yourself a favor, GO!!!!
The good dog was very obedient when it came to taste and presentation! Really cool place ...... Suggestion: (no disespect intended what soever Maybe, in the porcelain dishes the food comes in, have slits made in the dish so that the customer may cut the food to eat it. Mereley, a suggestion my Chillin dog was sooo FREAKING! Good! Oh! And i want to take the chili home separate!! YuM!! : .... I will definitely! Make a return for the other tastes on the Menu. An to Think! I was ALWAYS A James coney island fan! Lol! Muah Ha !!
Went there about 30 minutes before close on Friday. I was surprised there weren't more people there, our food only took maybe 10 minutes and was hands down of the best, if not the best hot dog I've ever had. I got the Texican, and I highly recommend it. My boyfriend got the New York, and said it couldn't have been a more traditional NY dog. Our fries were perfectly seasoned and the Sriracha ketchup was a great touch! I'll definitely be coming back.
The vegan options at this restaurant were fantastic. The Tofu dog was delicious with a smoky flavor. Unfortunately, there was a mistake and my boyfriend was accidentally served a non-vegan dog. The staff explained that they were new and quickly replaced the meal, even providing a voucher. The dogs cost about 8-9 dollars each, but the overall experience was good.

yes the menu is not vegan, but they are sooo happy to accommodate vegan and vegetarian and eat is great. if vegan and they really want a hot dog, they simply bring their own bungalow and they take care of the rest! I often go there. they were actually my first blog post on carnivoresandvegans.com
I literally spit the tofu dog into my napkin because I thought they messed up my order. I was quickly informed that it was in fact meat free. Pretty amazing! The servers were super friendly and nice! I will definitely be back and highly recommend this place!

Food was good, incredible red potato salad! Best I've had! Had the corn dog and Hubby had a chili cheese dog and a New York sauerkraut dog. He couldn't decide which he liked best.
