This park is a real staple in the heart of Bacup, Lancashire. The play park is currently being regenerated for 2019 and from what I have seen it is going to be outstanding. Make sure you visit the cafe in the middle of the park on a Wednesday Sunday (10:00 15:00) for fresh and organic food, some of which is grown on site by the management. The cafe itself is a must visit and the fact it is accompanied by such a lovely park space makes it all the better. Oh and if you're passing through, check out the Fairy Dell (pictures attached) for a magical experience. Finally... There's bowling greens, a football pitch, a dedicated pump bicycle track and a full skate park to boot.
the stubbylee park is a busy park at the weekend with many families to visit, cycling and dog hikes. there is a purpose to build bicycling course as well as wide distances for cyclists. it is a fairly large park that is full of mature trees, they are both large and small hiking trails to explore the nature and children as well as adult love it. most dog walkers clean their animals mess, but as usual the lazy irresponsible, not so they need to be careful, the young children become. Apart from this negative point, it is a large park to visit. in the summer it is nice to have a picnic and a great afternoon outside.
This park is amazing. It's large enough to keep the kids entertained for a while. They also enjoyed the outdoor fitness equipment nearby. The cafe is conveniently located and offers a great variety of items that were very appealing. The gardens were beautiful to walk through and the fairytale atmosphere was charming. There's plenty to do to keep the little ones entertained.
