Goodwood in Frankfort, KY is a favorite place to stop in to get a great bite to eat and a few drinks. The food is amazing and the views of the city and water stand alone. I suggest The Waylon burger which is so good but if your a vegetarian then I suggest The Grazer burger which is black beans instead of hamburger but is still great and filling. The service is always great with very friendly staff and the bar selection of liquors is some of the best I have seen. Fabulous place on the river. Nice menu but even better bourbon selection. They have many of the ones we all chase but seldom catch. A flight of 4 x 1/2 oz tastes were reasonably priced and really appreciated.Madison and everyone were so friendly and helpful. The weather was perfect even though we caught a few sprinkles before finishing the desert. We strongly recommend it. And try the unusual deep fried cheesy ? cauliflower. Mmmmm.
I gave service 3 stars not because of our waitress. She was great. But because we stood at the entry way too long to have way too many workers look directly at us and not have the professionalism to at least yell hi there! We will be with you in a moment! Also we were fighting yellow jackets on the patio but the river view is worth it lol. Food was fantastic! Would definitely go back
First time dining here. The food was ok. The fried green tomatoes were salty. The buffalo cauliflower was not cooked all the way through. The burger was cooked perfectly.Our server was awesome. She did a fantastic job.The Goodwood IPA was not too hoppy.The bathrooms were clean.
