I hope they don 't bury this review, so other people don 't get punked like we did. We were way better treated at the 20 euro cafes in Paris than here. The service is awful, the staff is slow and snobbish, with the exception of a younger blonde guy who was the only one acknowledging us and the sommelier. Everyone else either treated us improperly or completely ignored our existence. I don 't even know where to start. My husband and I are the biggest fans of Gordon Ramsay, and we made sure to save ahead in order to have this meal. This was HUGE and important to us. We were in Paris, so that added $100 rides to the expenses. This ended up being a $1100 expense for a $0 experience Our courses took 30 to 40 minutes to arrive (we had the 8 course meal). They were extremely careless and slow. Literally, everyone who arrived hours after us left before we did, with no apologies or explanation whatsoever and we had to practically beg to pay the check. After waiting 30 minutes my husband raised his hand to be acknowledged and the lady that seemed to be running the show gave us the cold treatment “because he raised his. Rudeness and carelessness all over. The lady who brought the card machine said, AFTER processing, how I made a mistake by selecting dollars (my home town currency) and not euros and she needed to run the card again because she didn 't believe it went through, even though the paper said APPROVED. Not to mention, I was the only person of color in the room, so no surprise ha? Sorry I’m young and black and can pay the check. Must be a shock for you guys. Last but not least, I made a very specific note on my reservation, saying that it was my husband 's birthday, but of course, THEY COMPLETELY IGNORED it because they were too busy currying favor with another table that knows the chef. I wish Gordon could take all the advice he gives and apply it to this particular business because it was not just disappointing; it completely ruined a special occasion. If you are in Paris, go to Maurice or George V. Go to any cafe or McDonald 's to be treated in a more proper way. The food was good, and the wine selection was good, but a place like this is about the experience, and this was one of the worst experiences we 've had not just in fine dining, but in general dining. Thanks for nothing. Disappointed doesn 't even begin to describe how we feel. Don’t go there, don’t spend your money there. It’s France there is so much good food and amazing service anywhere. This is a waste. Trying to book somewhere else to celebrate my hubby birthday again. What a freaking waste and joke. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €100 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

EXTREMELY EXTREMELY UNDERWHELMING. I’d like to start by saying that the first several courses were very good, and certain members of the service team were excellent (the young guy with short blonde hair, as well as the Somm). Everything else about our experience was VERY disappointing. The meal started off great, but then everything grinded to a halt. We waited 30+ minutes for the main course, and every course after that took FOREVER. We watched at least 5-6 tables get their main courses before us, when we had arrived an hour before any of these tables. How is this remotely acceptable? Also I was still hungry at the end of the meal. Throughout all of this waiting, we felt absolutely invisible. Nobody came to check on how we were doing, or made sure we were doing ok on drinks. The brunette woman who I assume is the Head Server (who others on here have been complaining about) was aloof and unprofessional. She spent all of her time and energy on other tables who seemed to be personal friends of the chef. I have 10 years of experience working as a server/supervisor in a Thomas Keller restaurant in NYC, so I know A LOT about hospitality (way more than the people who manage this place). I’m not going to be gaslit by the manager or head server with some lame excuse about how they were understaffed or busy. The Female Head Server was just standing around talking to her co-workers most of the time. And then the most humiliating part of the whole experience was when we had to beg for the check at the end (mind you, we had been there for 3.5 hours, and had watched many other tables arrive and leave before us. Our final plates had already been cleared for 15 minutes). Then after we swiped our credit card, the host tried to tell us that we would need to swipe the card again. Even though the receipt clearly said the payment was accepted. It seemed like she didn’t think we would be able to pay the bill. Do you people have no shame???! Oh yeah, and I had to ask for my coat on the way out too, because the host and Head Server were busy gossiping about our check. We get better service at every small cafe and bistro in Paris than we did at this awful tourist trap. Shame on Gordon Ramsey for allowing this restaurant to be such an absolute scam. I’m never going to another one of his restaurants unless if you guys make this right. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €100+ Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

A wonderful Michelin-starred restaurant in a fabulous hotel. Everything was excellent. The food was of very good quality and tasted excellent. All seven courses of the menu were sensational. The corresponding wines were fantastic. The service was always present without being intrusive, very friendly and accommodating. We had a lovely evening. Again any time. Highly Recommended.
