The wait was a bit lengthy—I stood in line with at least six other newcomers for over 30 minutes after placing my order. But as the saying goes, "good things come to those who wait," and that certainly applies here. It was definitely worth the wait. I ordered the hot brown, and it was substantial—not just bread, but loaded with turkey, the perfect amount of sauce, cheese, bacon, and tomatoes. Everything was delicious! On this chilly day, it really hit the spot. This dish should be on your must-try list… or better yet, on your "going back today" list! You'll thank me later. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that the portions are big enough to share if you and a friend aren't too hungry, but...
Really used to love this place a lot, sandwiches are still really good! I'm just sick and tired of all my favorite spots loosing all their value. The price of every sandwich and especially the hot brown had already gone up, which is understandable, but on my visit today now none of the sandwiches come with fries anymore. You have to buy them a La carte for $4+. Like come on man what used to cost $11-$12 dollars now will cost you $16-$17. Pretty significant percentage increase. No longer an affordable spot, I used to try and hit this place once a week, now it will be maybe once every other month or so. Ate my sandwich wish I had some fries to fill me up the rest of the way......
This place is fantastic! That's honestly the first thing that comes to mind. A few months ago, my friend mentioned it to me, and when I finally had the chance this week, I drove straight over to check it out. I decided to order a Reuben sandwich, and I have to say, it was a great choice. The atmosphere is really cool; it's just a small purple building that has a charming vibe. I ordered my Reuben at the window for $12.99, which is a great price for such a large sandwich that came with fries. The food was incredibly tasty, and the Reuben was excellent. I definitely plan to return to try some of their other sandwiches!
I’m so glad my wife found this place! She had the chivito sandwich and it was outstanding! The meat was tender and flavorful; the bread was fresh and just thick enough to hold the filling. I got an honest to goodness REAL pressed Cuban sandwich! I’ve been in KY 22 years and have been searching for the pressed Cubans I remember from Tampa. Theirs is the absolute best I’ve ever had! The roast beef is juicy and tender, and the ham is generously sliced. I can’t wait to go back and try their hot brown! Best place to eat in Louisville!!!

Whatever you heard about this place, it is ten times better! My gosh, the Reuben was massive and the Hot Brown just as good if not better. My first time eating here and I only live two blocks away. Yum! Massive sandwiches and fries, I believe my son and I will get 3 meals from each order! The fries are textured so fry up crispy and flavorful. I had the jalapeño mango chicken that was good but very hot from jalapeños. I had to remove the slices and that made it easier to eat and the other flavors opened up. Excellent deal for the price.
Extremely friendly service, ordered 2 hot browns and they were both excellent and large portions, highly recommend. I really hope they are successful and can move to a bigger place with indoor seating, I will keep coming back and hopefully others will too so they can succeed. Thank you!
The sandwiches are enormous and incredibly tasty. It's not the most budget-friendly spot, but you won't be disappointed; one sandwich and fries can easily serve as two meals. Be sure to try the Reuben and the enormous meatball sub!
