When we headed to a table, we were intercepted by the manageress, who rolled her eyes and raised eyebrows in dismay that we were headed for a table. We were told that we had to sit at a table for two, although a lone female customer came in just after us, who sat at a table for four, as did a man five minutes later. There were parents struggling at smaller tables, trying to feed their children. There was a poor choice of beverage and much on the menu was not available. Located in the North Lanes, this restaurant offers a great selection of burgers and other food like fried chicken strips and so on. We ordered a couple of burgers, mine was with jalapeno and my wife's was a cheese burger. My wife ordered hers medium well done and mine was a medium and they were served exactly as we had ordered them. The taste was great, the chips that we ordered on the side were great and the Madagascan vanilla milkshake was not one of those watery ones but a thick shake made with lots of ice cream and was perfect. Staff were nice and restaurant very clean. Good start. Three stars based on partners burger being good lovely medium cook on the moist beef patty. My Korean burger was dry and I felt that the Korean event didn’t come through in the flavour at all. Very stingy portion of kimchi slaw in bun. Not bad overall but paying ten quid for a very forgettable chicken burger was not a good impression. Not the individual restaurants fault as they are following guidelines from the head office. We spend almost 50 quid and all We had were a couple of burgers, fries and onion rings. Hopefully head office might reconsider the portion size for the price charged.
This was my first time at a GBK restaurant but I had been recommended to go by a friend. There was a Fab choice of burgers, there’s something for everyone! I went as a group of 5, we all ordered something different and honestly I would have happily eaten any of the burgers on our table, they all looked delicious (they all tasted delicious too! . Great portion sizes with chips, very reasonably priced restaurant as a whole. The milkshakes were delicious too. The staff were very helpful and attentive, service was brilliant. Would definitely visit a GBK again.

Started off okay, was greeted on the door by staff, was nice music, staff seemed friendly, my partner ordered a vegetarian burger and I ordered the Korean chicken burger with a side of fries, the food turned up within 10 minutes my partners food was nice, I ended up not eating because chicken was pink and the staff tried telling me it was the marinade that made it pink, so I ended up not eating the burger even after being offered for them to cook it longer or a different burger and ended up just eating the fries.
Visited GBK in Brighton on a December evening. The food was excellent. Cooked fresh and to order. The quality of the food was very high, and the burgers and chicken sides were to die for. Service was very friendly and extremely efficient. I was served by the amazing Aimee, who was probably as near to a ten out of ten as is humanly possible. A brilliant evening made all the better by the quality of the meal. A big shout out to Beth, the manageress, who was totally on the ball.
Absolutely love this place good vibes it is our go to on a day out from Croydon never fails to deliver all staff polite and respectful friendly service food gorgeous and drinks can't do enough for you had issue with gbk app all sorted now looking forward to coming in tomorrow again my wife Barbara is wheelchair bound lady treated with compassion and understanding as was myself man of a certain age restaurant ran professionally indeed
GKB in Brighton is a good burger restaurant that my wife and I can fully recommend. The food id very good and is served quickly by helpful staff. The restaurant is clean and the staff wipe the tables and clean the floor to keep it clean and wholesome. It can be busy during the summer so be prepared to wait but is it well worth it.

It used be so good but I went twice lately first time my burger was cold and cheese wasn't melty on a top of my cheese burger and ask night was horrible coleslaw was old and warm and my daughter chicken burger was hard in some places that she didnt eat it. I am not going back a shame it used to be my favourite place for burger!
