Elmwood Park has no shortage of excellent sandwich shops, but Great American Bagel, despite being a chain, creates sandwiches that rival any specialty deli in the area, thanks to their amazing staff. There are a few women here who make you feel like you’re dining in their own kitchen, with remarkable daily soups and generously filled bagels—they nail it every time. My top pick in town is the Mexican veggie wrap from this fantastic place!
I wouldn’t even rate this place one star. I paid over $18 for four bagels and four small cups of cream cheese—I should have refused the purchase, but that’s on me. On top of that, the bagels were awful, very doughy and tasted undercooked. We’ll be contacting corporate tomorrow.
Clean, lots of bagel choices, most cream cheeses flavors are excellent. (I dont like onions! Haven't tried the bagel sandwiches, seemed too pricey. I could get a footlong sandwich at Subway for cheaper or the same price.
Great bagels, sandwiches, good food all around. A bit on the pricy side for a bagel and cream cheese, I usually buy a dozen and keep them at home for the week. My girls love their flavors. Réservez une table maintenant
