This place is very American, so remember. We came here with high hopes. A medium-western taco restaurant with a really interesting, some hipster (in a southern swirl) and vegan options... The service was very friendly and the place was welcoming, in general, but the food was not so exciting. We started with chips, guacamole and salsa. Our waitress lets us taste all the different types of salsa, which was beautiful. Most salsas were milder and sweeter, but their fire salsa was spicy but not hotter than I had in authentic Mexican taco places. The chips were good, not remarkable, but the guacamole was very bland. Been going here for years. Got the same thing for so long (buffalo chicken taco) then they removed it. I became a little salty towards that. Didn't eat there for a while. I have since started eating there again, forced to try new menu items, only to findout that they're all pretty amazing. Now a big fan of the Baja and Hawaiian tacos. Try the Hawaiian with the Tuna. You won'tregret it. Their customer service has always been top notch.
The republic road location was my favorite, but that on Battlefield is fine. I like their “naked”Taco option or avocado that are healthy and they have herbal protein that I appreciate being in Springfield. My children like it here and can also get a vegan taco that is hard to find for them. We had already cared for them in our clinics and they were professional and accepted our nutritional restrictions. They are fast and cheap.
I only leave bad reviews if they?re completely called for and this one makes the cut. The tacos taste pretty good and fresh, but the bang for your buck is way off par. I paid over $7 for ONE taco. It says street tacos at the top of this section of the menu and with street tacos there is usually more than one. Not here. The food is alright, but the value is truly awful (even considering the trying times we are in)

A must-visit for tacos! It seems like they've changed their flour tortillas, as I don't remember them being like this before. They were delicious, but unfortunately, they didn't hold together well and fell apart before I could fully enjoy my tacos. I absolutely love their salsas, and the queso is fantastic as well!
My friends and I had lunch at the recently opened Great American Taco on Republic. The service was excellent and Sam was truly amazing. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning!

I used to really enjoy this restaurant, but I ordered the taco salad today and it was laughably small. It used to fill the whole container!
