I ordered a Keksteig Ray from Sonic Drive-In's menu through the app but received an unmixed ice soup instead. When I informed them, they immediately acknowledged the issue and apologized. They explained that the ice machine shuts down at 9 o'clock and that even if they tried to fix it, the ice would still be runny. It was frustrating to spend $6 on melted ice and be told there was nothing they could do. Despite that, they accepted my 9:30 order, even though the ice machine was supposed to be off by 9:00. The service at Sonic Drive-In is usually great—Maddie, in particular, is excellent—but this experience made me hesitant to order iced items again.
I want to start by saying that I really love Sonic. However, I’ve been a bit disappointed with this location. Every single time I visit, there seems to be an issue with my order—yes, EVERY TIME. On my latest visit, I ordered tater tots with cheese and onions, along with a Route 44 Diet Dr. Pepper with vanilla. Unfortunately, there were no onions on my tots, and my drink had no vanilla in it. This isn’t the first time I’ve faced problems here. Just last week, I ordered a Route 44, but what I received was just a large drink, even though I paid for the larger size. I would appreciate it if you could pay closer attention to the details. Thank you!
I believe she deserves much more than just a loud shout-out on Facebook or a simple review. There's a wonderful woman at the Sonic on Chestnut who is always sweet, cheerful, and brightens the days of Jason Farabee and me. Desi, you are truly a blessing for us. The food is consistently excellent, and the drinks are fantastic. However, Anna, you really need to improve your customer service skills. When my fiancée asks for two of everything, there’s no need to give her attitude or pack our food in the bag as if it was done out of anger because you charged us extra for our order. I love Sonic, but I'm not pleased with your service, Anna.

I go to this Sonic every morning to get a large sweet tea with light ice. Whenever I pull up and hit the red button to place my order, they always confirm it before bringing it out. Today, one of the owners personally brought me my drink and told me it was complimentary. I truly appreciated this unexpected act of kindness. Thank you, sir, for brightening my day!

I really appreciate that the entire menu is available all day, which is perfect for those of us who have unconventional work hours or find ourselves craving breakfast or dinner at unusual times.

usually pretty good, but my last visit i got almost all my food put in my bag upside down. the tots were completely smashed. and none of the sauces that i asked for were included.
