Online ordering misled me into thinking I had fries coming with my meal. I didn’t. Used to get them with a $10 gyro sandwich so though we were good. Nope, had to order them. $12 for three sides of fries. Stood there for 20 minutes watching other people’s food get bagged up while mine got cold. Told the boy working there I wanted my money back for the fries and he ignored me. 5 minutes later they handed me the fries. So disappointing these days the way these $20/hr workers can’t even seem to have a sense of decency and say “sorry sir, how about a soda or a dessert for your troubles.”Obviously, the owners are too cheap to train the kids that operate the joint how to be nice and remedy customer...
I typically order the gyro plate along with a milkshake. The gyro plate includes crispy golden fries, a delicious salad topped with feta cheese, sliced pita bread, and a generous portion of meat accompanied by dill sauce. It's more than I can eat in one sitting, so I usually finish the fries and some of the meat on the pita, saving the salad and the leftover meat for lunch the following day. The milkshakes are reasonably priced, and I tried the pineapple flavor during my last visit. However, the chunks of pineapple got stuck in the straw, so I ended up using a spoon to finish it. The service is always fast and efficient!
I recently attempted to call GC on Graves, but the number isn't working. This is the third time my order has been incorrect at the drive-thru. I ordered a Greek chicken salad and a side of gyros meat, but the girl at the window told me I ordered a gyros salad instead, so I ended up purchasing a side of chicken. What frustrates me the most is not being able to get through on the phone to address this. I'm really disappointed.
This is a nice fast food place that offers a level of quality you rarely encounter in such establishments. The food was tasty, but the lunchtime crowd gave it the typical fast food vibe. I highly recommend trying the combo meal that includes everything—you won't regret it! As for parking, since it's located in a very busy strip mall, it took me about 5 minutes to find a space.
The food is consistently delicious! I'm particularly addicted to the yogurt sauce. The cashier at the drive-thru noticed I had two little ones in car seats and kindly provided me with extra napkins and cups for the ice cream without me even asking. That was really considerate, and I truly appreciated it. Overall, I give the food a 5 out of 5!
