I?m sad to give a bad review. I?ve been here two times for their half price sushi. The first time was a wonderful feast, very enjoyable, tasty. Today, we ordered again, and almost every eel roll had fish bones, and so did the salmon sashimi. This is a freaking health hazard, and my little brother nearly choked when he swallowed one of the sushi pieces without realizing. I was hoping to make this place a habitual experience, too bad.
Green Bamboo is my neighborhood go-to for fast Asian food. The staff are so friendly and helpful; their service is always quick. The food quality is consistent, so I can always count on my favorites like Kung Pao Chicken, Thai Basil Fried Rice, and Spring Rolls. Plus, you can't beat the half-off sushi on the weekends when you order directly by phone or in-person.
Sushi was very tasty- the green bamboo roll was almost like two rolls in one! Spring rolls just meh- would skip next time. General tso chicken was tasty but I paid extra for white meat and it was so thin you couldn?t tell and was stringy- wish it was thicker pieces of chicken.
10/10 will be returning. The staff was very friendly. Sara was attentive to our needs and served us very quickly. The food was delicious and we were very impressed by their prices. Tempera roll is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Definitely adding this place to our list of favorites!
