Like the last review, went to Greenan's last night with my Husband on the Groupon deal. We were greeted straight away when we went in, a drink order was taken and we were given our menus. It wasn't long until we were taken in to the dining room and starters were served straight away which were delicious.All of the staff seemed busy and professional and the place had a very homely feel about it. Main courses did not dissapoint either and portions were very good. Visited Grenan's last night with me Husband. It was a return trip having had our first great meal in Greenan's late last year, we decided to go back. Sometimes your memory of a place is not what you thought and you are left disappointed but this was definately not the case here.Like the last time, we were greeted at the door as soon as we arrived, given menu's and a drinks order was taking. Prior to staying at The Aul Shop in Cabra, I searched for nearby dining options and found Greenans conveniently located across the road. My husband and I dined there on a Friday night and were impressed by their diverse menu. We opted for an Open steak sandwich and a southern fried chicken burger for our daughter, both of which were delicious. We requested no salad or dressing on our orders and they were prepared exactly as we asked. The steak sandwich was served on garlic bread and topped with cheese, and the prices were reasonable. My husband and I went to Greenans Steakhouse on Wed. 3rd July, 2013 after buying a Groupon voucher for £20 which included two sizzlers dishes with a sauce, a rice/potato dish and two desserts My husband opted for the Sizzlers Special (strips of chicken, beef prawns). I had the Shredded Chicken Sizzler. Whilst having a drink and waiting for our meals we remarked to each other that the bar and restaurant (and also the Toilets) were absolutely spotless and there was plenty of room between tables. The staff were courteous, obliging and the waiter served us with a wonderful smile. I would certainly recommend Greenans as a great place to go for a meal and/or a drink. Went Friday night after hearing family members rave about greenans steakhouse ! Staff very friendly and very welcoming although we were not booked and the restaurant was full the staff did manage to get us a table very quickly I must say the staff were an absolute delight they actually recommended dishes of the menu which is rare to find these days and as for the food all I could say please order the ribs you will not be disappointed a BBQ sauce with a little kick and the steaks just perfection no fat or grizzle and was like cutting melted butter . we didn't try the desserts as we had no room left! Having passed Greenan's many times over a number of years, we had never ventured in until I spied good Tripadvisor reviews. It's local so we decided to give it a try. The favourable reviews seem quite justified with really flavoursome steak followed by a light apple crumble which really hit the spot. They have a good value early bird steak meal for 2 with a bottle of house wine which seems to be excellent value. Staff were friendly and efficient even while the Chef was celebrating a new arrival. Congratulations Chef !Decor and arrangement is simple and unpretentious clean as a whistle.We intend to re visit soon.
Went to Greenans 11th May 2013 after buying a groupon voucher for £20 to include two sizzler dishes with sauce side and two desserts. Myself and my husband opted for the sizzling special (prawns strips of chicken beef), mine was cooked in pepper sauce, my husband in teriyaki accompanied by garlic sauté potatoes . Food was piping hot and absolutely gorgeous. For afters I had apple crumble and custard and my husband had mint aero cheesecake. Our dessert was gorgeous, I especially enjoyed the apple crumble. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. What a bargain! Definitely worth the money, we will return.
this is a very clean pub/restaurant its not your top of the range type restaurant but for good food and plenty of it, served by very friendly and helpful staff at a reasonable price you cant go far wrong.

Visited Grennans on Sunday evening. Food was fabulous and staff were very helpful and friendly. Very nice surroundings, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Will definitely be going back soon
We were in the restaurant last weekend, we were greeted by friendly staff. The atmosphere in Greenans was lovely and the food was to match. Great value for money and was a very clean pub.
