I've been driving to st anton for over 10 years and went to greabli for eating and drinking on a regular basis. I always appreciated the efficient staff, the nice eating and the atmosphere. on this trip I left my wallet behind me. When I came back five minutes later, it was gone. the waitress just scrubbed her shoulders and said: no, they didn't. I went back and back the following day, I was directed into her direction. she never asked me what color it was, any details about it asked other employees. She has only pointed out an open cabinet that they put lost things in and said it is not here. then just let me stand there. while I totally understand that it was not her fault, her total inter...
my man and I did a ski lesson today, and the teacher brought us to grimabli for a late lunch. it was delicious. the restaurant serves authentic Austrian dishes according to the instructor. we sat outside in what the instrukteur called a “fall trap”. It was warm and roasted with the sun that was radiating on us. I had something that was called fried toasty (spelling? . it was essentially a hash brown grilled cheese covered with a fried egg. my man had the Austrian equivalent of makkaroni and cheese. everything was delicious. the waiting staff was very friendly and efficient. I will eat this week here definitiw again.
We visited Griabli 3 times during our trip to st Anton! Lovely restaurant with a real fire, friendly welcoming staff, reasonable menu with Austrian specialities and pizzas which looked very good (plus daily specials every day apart from Saturday). Gets busy at lunch but go...early or late and you would be fine. You enter via the red 29 at the back or blue 50 at the front. We tried the spaghetti bolognese, chicken salad, goulash soup and weineschnitzel over our visits and all were very good. We saw a number of desserts come out as well which looked amazing, especially the apple strudel!
Just off the Piste is the most wonderful lunch venue. Outstanding local dishes and equally as good burgers and bolognese. Wash that down with their delightful deserts and then your greatest challenge is skiing down after that. Lovely friendly staff. Two visits in 6 days...and both were as good as one another.
Enjoyed a delicious lunch here while on a recent family ski trip. Good daily specials and pizzas that filled my teens for the rest of the afternoon’s skiing. Perfect spot on a sunny day especially although inside is very comfortable too. Worth a pit stop...on your way down.
always eat here when in St.Anton food is home and well cooked and presented. service staff very friendly and efficient. nothing is too much annoying. the terrace is a great sun protection. pizzen well and lasagna went well with the family.... highly recommend a visit
