We had a great time, the food was outstanding. 15oz Rib-eye bone out Medium rare, soooo good. Peter behind the bar was not only extremely knowledgeable on the menu and offered suggestions but was great at striking up a friendship and making us feel at home. We enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and all the people. We will most certainly be back for another round.
While we loved the wine list, the steak wasn’t well rested and under seasoned and arrived in a pool of blood and the cuisson was closer to rare than mid rare. My partner is celiac and didn’t have any issues, therefor a positive note. However since we came for a steak, we left a little underwhelmed.
The level of service and food is up to bar with the price. Waiters are understaff, had to ask more than 3 times to get some bread, tomahawk steak is one of the worse that we have eaten in Montreal, while the other dry aged steak served taste much better. And the oyster were not very fresh.
