We eat at Gringos just about every time we come to Buncombe Creek RV. It can be rather noisy but the wait staff has always been friendly and honest and the food has always been good. When my mother orders the steak medium rare, she is told…you can order it how you want but it will more than likely come out over cooked, are you ok with that? You’ve got to love the honesty. Their margaritas come in small, medium and large. The large is huge and full of alcohol, just be ready. The margs we had last night, honestly, we’re not the best, but that won’t stop us, we will definitely be back the next time we are in the area.
This place is a long way off the beaten path but if you're there give it a try. Lunch chicken fajitas were delicious and enough to feed two people. Enchiladas were also good as were the tacos. Looks like this place might hop for the lake crowd on the weekends. Great staff who were very attentive and accomading. they offer takeout too.
We never been here before today so I was excited to try a new restaurant. We ordered water to drink. When the waitress brought our water there was some kind of bug with a tail swimming in my glass! It kind of looked like a tadpole. We got up and left. Definitely won't be back. Y'all make sure to check your drinks.
Had an absolute horrible experience here. Waitress was too busy with her grand baby to wait on us, and the fajitas were the absolute worst I've ever had in my life. Owner was rude when I complained about it

The food here is quite good. If you're in the area and looking for a meal, it will definitely satisfy your hunger. The Tex-Mex enchiladas are your standard fare, but the cheese dip is excellent!
The food was excellent and arrived quickly. The booths are spacious, but the benches are quite far from the table. While there's no complimentary queso, we did buy a bowl, and it was delicious.
It was really good. The only problem is they overcooked the steak. You don't need to burn steak so it's done. You're in Oklahoma. It can be medium rare or medium. Watch how you cook steak
Server argued over and over with my wife over what she ordered. Rude, and completely unnecessary and tried to make her pay for what she didn’t order or eat.

The food was excellent. Although we weren't aware they closed in the afternoon, they still kindly served us. The staff was very accommodating.
