I ordered picante de machas and alianza (jalea ceviche) the machas was rubbery chewy not much flavor I was hungry so I ended up eating potatoes and white rice because I couldn't continue chewing the machas. The Alianza was very disappointing because weliterally got 2 small pieces of fish 1 calamari and 3 pieces of yuca in a container and the other container had very littleceviche. I couldn't believe what I saw and I'm 25mins away so I didn't want to go back to return it but I got to say I will notbe ordering food from your restaurant. Very Very disappointing because I used to order from this restaurant very often.
I've eaten at this restaurant more times than I can count and I'm never disappointed! My family and I go there for dinner and get take out fairly regularly. The malai kofta and paneer mumtaz are particularly loved and their hulwa is delicious. Although it's predominantly north Indian curries, they added a south Indian menu a few years ago so you can order dosa, uttupam, and a few other dishes. Always a delicious choice of restaurant!
The best part was the passion fruit sangria! The chicharrón was a bit overcooked though the ceviche was good. Waitress seemed to not be in a hurry even though we were the only ones there for a while. We had a second waitress halfway through our meal and she was much more attentive. The price was reasonable, $68 for everything (anticucho, ceviche mixto completo, and pitcher of sangria)
I have to say this one of the best restaurants I have been to for Peruvian food. I know many say the food is pricey compared to other restaurants that serve Peruvian food but you definitely get your money's worth

Poor service, food wasn't that good, for 02 people they charge 18% for service plus an additional charge for paying with card. I drove 3 hours from CT, wasn't worth it.
Food is Ok .I was expected better food to be honest. I asked for some huancaina sauce (just a bit) and they charged me 5$ !! Really??? Torta helada was awful!!!
I honestly think they have someone's grandma cooking in the back because the food here is that ridiculously good and taste home made!!

As the best food in the world is Peruvian, Griselda?s makes the job in Paterson New Jersey Downtown. I will go back again with friends.
