Grove Surf Coffee Coffee St. Pete Beach

I’m a local and this is one of my favorite places to stop on the way to the beach. Who doesn’t love a great coffee plus some beach shopping?! I love their toasted coconut latte. It’s the perfect mix of coffee/coconut. Whoever mentioned just “tasted regular” needs to have their taste buds checked because it’s always delicious with plenty of flavor. Their pastries are also to die for. You can go with a savory spinach/feta croissant which is heavenly or something sweet like their key lime pie muffin! Staff was welcoming and attentive. They also have a selection of bakery items which were just okay, not anything to write home about. However, I was truly disappointed with the coffee itself. I ordered a Flat White, and it seemed like it was steamed too much, giving it a burned taste. While the atmosphere and service were great, the main reason I visit a coffee shop is for the coffee, and unfortunately, this place missed the mark on that front.

This a cute small cafe to hangout with friends, meet for a coffee and also do some shopping. Yes, they have a collection of clothes and accessories from local vendors that they sell here. The menu looks refreshing but their coffee is okay. We ordered a toasted coconut latte and it tasted like regular coffee. Nothing too special. Just a fancy glass with bunch of regular ingredients.

I’d choose this place any day over Starbucks! The true meaning of a coffee shop. A little neat surf wear products in there as well. Friendly staff upon entering. The young lady taking our order was super friendly and very polite. She gave us good recommendations.

Great place for coffee! Has a little retail shop as well. Friendly service and tasty drinks. The spiced vanilla latte was delicious. Also had the strawberry pop tart.
