My wife and I hail from the Phoenix Arizona area, where there are 130 Mexican restaurants in Maricopa County alone (not a typo). To say that we are familiar with good Mexican food would be an understatement. There’s a certain amount of wisdom to saying that a restaurant should have a decent amount of variety but not to overload a menu to the point where very few things can be made well, and most will be made in a mediocre manner. Ordered a Texas style fajitas. Menu showed it came with fried onions, green peppers, and tomatoes. Requested no green peppers or tomatoes. Asked to add jalapeños and onion only. Order came with the meat and Jalapeños only. No onions. Asked for onions, got onions for a $2.00 charge?....in Vidalia!..home of the Sweet Onion? Meat was mediocre at best. Service was slow and not very attentive. Got nickled and died on the check....disappointing.

I absolutely love this restaurant! The atmosphere is fantastic, the waitstaff is incredibly friendly, and the food is delicious. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, the quality of the food makes it worth it. The negative reviews I've seen seem to be misleading; perhaps those people just had an off day. We were looking for a place to eat lunch coming thru Lyons. We saw Guacamole’s and decided to stop. It was 2pm and I was a little concerned the food may not be the freshest. They brought the chips and salsa and it was honestly the best I’ve ever had. We got a 32 oz cup to take home!! I had the steak burrito with rice. It was hot, fresh and delicious! The service was great also! We will be back!

RIDICULOUS. Ordered a large cheese dip, and a drink. Almost $18. The cheese dip is much smaller than a large and then charge for the chips?!?! I 'll stick to ordering in Statesboro on my way home and get a large bag of chips with my large cheese dip.... for FREE

We got there and it took over 45 minutes to get sampler platter appetizer! It wasn’t even cooked. The hot sauce taste and looks like watered down tomato sauce. Our good wasn’t even cooked after the wait. Cheese not melted and meat cold.
