My girlfriend and I ran across this place after dinner. The signage could be better - it's just a sandwich board sign and the venue is down some stairs. We had to wait a little bit (about 20-30 mins) which was a little annoying, but then we realized that they do it for crowd control. Once inside, we got seated and the band played a number of cover songs in blues format, and they were really good. The venue is very nice in a sort of rustic setting, and the staff is very friendly and helpful - they seemed to have a very good grip on running the show and making sure the place isn't too crowded and everyone is attended to. Get here early, seating is limited. The staff does a great job of keeping the place filled but not overcrowded. that means if you show up late then you're going to have to wait. We made that mistake and had to wait 45 minutes to get in. Once you're in though its great. The ambiance is very classy and upscale. The service was a little slow for our section, which is why I gave it a 4/5. The rest of the sections seemed to be getting twice as much attention as ours so maybe it was just bad luck we got this server.The drinks and food were good. Wow what a great venue! I was in Seattle on vacation and to go to a wedding. After dinner we went for drinks at Guilt and Company. Nice cozy funky feel. Sat down to a great couple of sets from Krystle Dos Santos and the Lovemakers. What a voice on this girl! Not hard on the eyes either! They did some great tunes, we had an amazing time. Band was really good. Just had a few beers so I can't comment on the food. Band and atmosphere was excellent! Thoroughly enjoyed the evening there even though it was a bit of a challenge to find the place as it turned out to be in the basement!Exceed my expectations. Good food, good service, good live music. It was fun watching the musicians arrive and setting up the stage for performance.The crowd seemed to be mostly young professionals and friends of the musicians performing on stage, probably musicians themselves.The band we watched was young but very talented. Went there on a Friday night for some live music - the sound was terrible (I don't think it was the band that was but, but the acoustics and sound were terribly handled). The staff was rude when didn't tip enough the band. Ordered a (overly priced) small beer - got and had to pay for a large one. It's going to take a lot for me to go back to the place. Just disappointing. The place was very nice though, and if it hadn't been for the terrible sound, it's a nice place to have a drink with friends.
Fantastic cocktail and live music venue ! Kevin is an artist and makes every drink with flair - be sure to watch him!! Live music varies in style but always good, you can sit, stand or dance. Cover is "pay what you can" and goes directly to the band. It can line up on weekends but you will definitely get in if you have patience. Has co-ed washrooms, don't let the separate signs/entrances fool you....not a big deal, it was clean and there were no issues. My favorite place in Vancouver so far!
At Guilt & Co. for an 8pm show with Antonio Larosa and his band. Guild & Co is a perfect venue to host local talent and Antonio fit the bill. Staff are friendly and efficient and the poutine was delicious and the wine ...very tasty. The band The Walkens and superstar Antonio Larosa were amazing!
Dropped by for a drink when in town and caught a band playing a set. Staff were really attentive and the bar menu was great. Could be a personal thing, but I always love a bar that requires walking down a staircase for entry. Great find. Réservez une table maintenant
