My wife and I were looking for a sandwich shop to grab a quick lunch after visiting Gunston Hall, the colonial home of George Mason, one of the founders of our country. Friends who live in the Washington, D.C., area tipped us off to Gunston Deli. Good tip. Located at 7025 Newington Road in Lorton, Virginia, which is 20 miles southwest of the nation's capital via I-395, it offers breakfast and lunch from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. cheesteak was great, I just moved from philly to the area. I really wanted a cheesteak and was destined since I was out of service today. it's hard to find a good steak and cheese down here. it's funny because I never noticed that the business was exactly where I live a few days ago. Owners/employees really nice people, nice choice of eating. in any case, it's over again.

I'm never disappointed with the breakfast I get here! the ham, egg and cheese croissant is my favorite, but I sometimes get the BLT egg and that is a good way to start the day too.

the speckburger was good. I made my wendys trick, because I can't cry. they wouldn't make salad packs, but they delivered a burger without buns and extra salat.
