Great bar to go with a date with the board games and atmosphere. They kept many of the ceiling designs and I believe added a few new ones. I also heard they may serve some food in the future which can be a plus. Large drink list and plenty of cocktails. Board game atmosphere does kinda conflict with the TVs showing sports but you do kinda have to accommodate for everyone. Maybe some of the TVs could be rented out for people to hook up game consoles like the Nintendo Switch to as a happy medium idea.

Loved Guthrie’s overall … but after re opening and new owners they “cleaned it up” . Didn’t seem as charming/warm this time. I will admit in my current visit I did go during day and it’s charm of Guthrie’s past truly came from the evening so will have to go back in the evening under new owners. Well priced drinks still and friendly staff! Board games

Super cute place!!! Loved the environment! Cozy seating and great drinks! Best part of it all, are the board games- great classic selection!!! Highly recommend this spot!!!

Really great neighborhood bar. We did not eat, we just had drinks played a game. Very casual comfortable, just felt homey. I highly recommend Guthrie.
