The evening here with my wife and parents-in-law got off to a bad start: no Guten Abend from the host when we gave him our name, no help choosing a suitable table and when the waitress arrived to take our order, she was so blunt and impatient that it bordered on rudeness - and yes, all of this was in German.The local Klosterberg Grauburgunder (pinot gris / pinot grigio) was light and refreshing and great value-for-money. A really disappointing evening. The pre-ordering of a desired table was not observed. It was so full and loud that my own word could hardly understand, let alone that understandable communication with operators (which seemed relatively subcooled and overwhelmed by the way) was possible. This also led to my steak being delivered almost raw, although I had ordered it moderately hard. When I read the reviews, I can be glad that after the complaint I have received the same steak a little further, but strangely the roast potatoes have tasted only for fat. We had a table inside with a view (extra for our outdoor fairy) and directed on our dog. At the reception I got my double name, which is to be heard for a name. All right. The table was reserved from 4pm to 7pm. We have a table on the counter with a view of two people on the wall. We were already asked for food requests when ordering drinks. On the note we would like to wait with the food, only the drinks came and after about five minutes the question about food requests came again. Went end of April on a Sunday afternoon. Restaurant was full. There was no asparagus left which was disappointing however the salad was very good fresh & tasty. Main courses mostly traditional German style meat & vegetable very generous portions. Service was ok and the views are beautiful.Playground outside for children.Good for a family visit. Good food, cool drinks, a shady spot in the outdoor area or a place inside with great views. You understand. They are also served quickly and all are friendly, the boss is occasionally tied to some cardiovascular and short. A visit is absolutely recommended here. Depending on the season, there are adjusted offers. Top!
