Dining at Gutsschenke has been transformed from not good to a wonderful tasting experience. The restaurant has been restyled by the new owners to a stylish and modern restaurant. Mr. Giuseppe Scaramuzzino welcomed us and took very good care of us with the assistance of...his staff. We ordered the 4 course menu which ranged from Scallops Qual Venisson Tarbot and desserts. Each dish was outstanding with tase explosions I have never experience before. A big compliment to the kitchen brigade and Giuseppe who explained each dish to us.
When staying in Schlosshotel Monrepos you probably will go to this restaurant as this is next to the hotel. This restaurant is a good choice, especially as the city of Ludwigsburg is little far away and there is nothing else in the neighborhood. Food was...good and prices are reasonable. They have a nice wine list (just one wine list for the whole restaurant) and they also serve wines from the winery next to the hotel. Very friendly service, so overall we had a nice evening there. We have heard about the restaurant and the Michelin star. Unfortunately the chef left 3 moths ago. Nevertheless we decided to book a table. They placed us not in the restaurant ,but the opposite room,completely cold,and they have rejected to move us to other table,...even free later.Service was also down ,new waiter without knowing about the wines. Food : not so good quality of food! You espect better quality in a such area especially when I sow so many positive reviews
this restaurant is surely one of the best in ludwigsburg! eating is a very nice mix of local food, but at the same time also very nice fusion international courses are available and all the time they are a very nice menu....So the restaurants environment really comes with a hauch of a very beautiful restaurants and at the same time manage the restaurant guiseppe and his team gives them so a warm welcome feeling that they feel almost like home!

To be quite honest it was a bit to much. But the taste and...the service fitted to the atmosphere and the desired perfect specialties. Nothing to claim! Highly recommended!
