My experience at H Mart Manhattan was extremely disappointing—definitely not a place I would recommend. I felt racially profiled as a Black customer. I was in the store for just a couple of minutes when staff accused me of theft over cotton swabs that were in my hand the entire time. They refused to call the police because they knew they were wrong. It was humiliating to be treated that way based on assumptions. I will never return to this location. I hope a manager reaches out to address this, as no one in the neighborhood deserves such terrible treatment. The staff were unfriendly, and I would advise others to stay away.
