This store has great stock of a variety of Asian products, but the prices are ridiculous. The store shamelessly takes advantage of the fact that it is the only large Asian grocer in the vicinity, and knows that they can charge high prices and still havecustomers. The store was very busy since it was the day before the storm, but I was lucky to find a short line at the bakery. I picked up a few treats for lunch and some desserts for the next day. The staff member was friendly and efficient. I had a sandwich with provolone cheese, chicken, peppers, and pesto on a baguette—it was incredibly refreshing and satisfying. The strawberry shortcake was light, sweet, and fluffy, and the ginger snap cookie was delicious. Both the chocolate croissant and the cookie tasted fresh. The cashier they have in the store is extremely rude, unprofessional and rolled their eye whenever you speak to them. I can’t communicate in English with them, tried to scan my membership card, rolled her eye at me, try to speak to her, rolled her eyes at me again. There was also no one to bag the item, the cashier just stand there, stared at me, play with her nails when I am struggling to bag the items I purchased. Most DISGUSTING experience, there are 2 more H mart in the Boston area, will never come back to the Cambridge one!
H Mart San Jose De Anza is somewhat hidden, especially for newcomers to the area. I visited during lunch and found the store to be very clean and spacious. It wasn’t crowded, but the cashiers were quick to assist, and the customer service was excellent. As a seafood enthusiast, I appreciated the wide variety of fresh options they offer at reasonable prices. The surrounding area is busy, but there seems to be parking available in the back.

I’m Korean, and without this location, I’d be lost. Even though it’s far from my home, they offer a wide variety of delicious Korean entrees and side dishes. I especially love buying pork belly and kimchi here, along with other Korean foods.
Great h mart location with good fresh produce. I was looking for tamarind paste and they did not have any, but I think they will have most things you could need. Staff are friendly and helpful. I wish there were more H Marts around Boston!
