Terrible service. After I ordered and paid for my meal, the kid behind the counter asked if I wanted my 62 cents in change back. I thought, why wouldn’t I want my change? So, I said yes. He then grabbed a jar labeled “TIPS” and started shaking it, saying he didn’t have change, so I should just keep the dollar and give him 38 cents more. His attitude was incredibly rude. To make matters worse, he turned up the music so loud that it felt like I was in a rough neighborhood. When I mentioned that the music was too loud and inappropriate, he didn’t seem to care at all. This is well deserved. I drove past this place many times without notice and finally stopped by. I can go on, I'll try to keep it brief. Walked in to an extremely clean, well organized place. The friendliest staff you'll come across. I almost ordered Tacos until I realized last second they had bowls. First order Rice with cilantro, seriously? Yes please . Pinto beans , corn and cilantro , freshly diced tomatoes , mozzarella cheese, guacamole with red onions. Every single ingredient fresh as if diced right in front of me. I stopped by Habanero Mexican Grill after catching a movie. The first thing that caught my attention was the decor; it was clean, and the walls were adorned with murals. There was plenty of seating available. I placed a to-go order for an empanada, chicken bowls, and a chicken taco salad. The chicken empanada was decent; the crust was warm and crispy, and I believe they make it to order. The chicken bowl was average, lacking flavor, and was overloaded with heavy sour cream. As for the taco salad, it was quite a disappointment—mostly just lettuce and guacamole, with only a scant amount of chicken and cheese. The service was okay, but the real highlight of Habanero was the artwork.
I recently ordered takeout for lunch, and overall, I was quite impressed. The food was flavorful and satisfying, earning a solid rating of 4. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff who ensured my order was prepared quickly and accurately, giving them a top rating of 5. As for the atmosphere, even though I opted for takeout, I could tell that the restaurant exuded a lovely ambiance, which also deserves a 5. I would definitely recommend this spot for a great lunch option!
Great, neighborhood place. Know how to order if you're ordering to go, ask for guac or sour cream on the side or this or that. I'm sure any negative reviews were from an online takeout service, However, the actual food is great and well seasoned, staff is super friendly. One of my go to lunch spots. I usually go in personally and order a couple of tacos and they walk you through the line and you make it how you want it. Great spot for tacos, burritos or quesadillas.
The two young men working the shift tonight were true gentlemen. My food was ready in just five minutes, and I haven't experienced such excellent customer service in a long time, even though I was only in the restaurant for about two minutes. The food is absolutely delicious—I'm actually writing this while I eat! This was my first time ordering from here, but I will definitely be coming back! Service: Takeout.
Stopped in for the first time with my daughter, small location and freindly staff. We ordered the chicken bowl, beef nachos and steak burrito. The chicken bowl was ok as were the nachos. However, the steak in the burrito tasted horrible, like old hamburger meat Overall, i felt the food was mediocre and a little on the expensive side.
Terrible experience! The guy behind the counter is so awful! Will not go back. Go back to school, learn how to interact with humans, your little restaurant will not stay long with the attitude and music so loud and disgusting you can't enjoy your meal. Food was awful as well. Tacos hard and chicken Terrible. Stay away.
