Habesha - Réserver une table

We have ordered from Habesha multiple times in the past year. Generally, they provide quick service and delicious food. We typically order the Habesha platter (meat) and the Vegetarian platter. They are always flavourful and packed with lentils in different sauces. Last night we used the Order Ahead function on Skip the Dishes and put our order in at 4:00 requested delivery at 6:00. THe restaurant didn't open until 5 . Our order didn't show up until 7 and the food was cold. At 6:45 I called the restaurant to find out where the order was and they said it had just been picked up. I came here with a large group of coworkers based on a recommendation. The food was amazing and the Ethiopian cuisine experience was great. The service was awesome. The waiters came around and filled up our waters many times. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and the food was absolute delicious. The restaurant was clean, inviting and was able to support our large group. It definitely exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to experience Ethiopian food.

3.75 STARS Quiet, nice Ethiopian restaurant. Lamb tibs with Berbere 4/5 Green beans stew with carrots 3.5/5 Injera bread 3.5/5. The above were good and perfectly fine, but muted in comparison to what we get at home in Toronto. Injera was damper than what we are used to, still spongy enough in consistency, and all in all, it was very tasty and healthy. Not dripping in oil. Slow cooked food. I would give this place 3.75. Service is low-key. Bought coffee beans there from Ethiopia.

I ate Ethiopian food about once a week from the many restaurants available in Kampala, Uganda, when I worked there. Naturally I crave it since I've moved back to Canada. Of the ones I have tried in Ottawa, this one comes the closest to authentic taste and flavour. The service is excellent and the decor was pleasantly familiar. I recommend the Habesha platter, pictured, for beginners.

Amazing Ethiopian/ Eritrean food at a lovely family restaurant! They willingly make small changes to the dishes if asked, and make sure you leave with a smile on your face every time. When we go my partner gets the zizil tibs, and I devour the veggie platter. Them being closed during the Covid lockdown was tough, and I was first to dine in when it re-opened!

I preordered atkilt wot and shuro wat and injera on Skip the Dishes for 1:30 pm. The food showed up right on time, and was hot and had large portions. I'll admit we're no experts on Ethiopian food but but my friend and I thought everything was delicious.

Right now, I think this is the best Ethiopian option in the city It has a homey, casual feel to it and I keep coming back This is the restaurant I pick for first timers to Ethiopian food Its an easy go to pick for me generally

Delicious food, I have dined in and gotten take out. My go-to is the vegetarian platter. Sometimes there can be a long wait, I usually call ahead to order.

Fantastic meal, with great staff. A unique and interesting experience, the Meade wine is a very nice complement to the meal.
