Haflingerhof - Réserver une table

We visited this amazing little restaurant while on a business visit to the Zurich area. About 45 minutes by train from Zurich lies the village of Egg, and this very special restaurant. Part of a working farm with horses, the cosy little restaurant is a haven from the cold. It's warmth is not only from the fire and the scrumptious food but also the overwhelming hospitality of the hosts. Cordon Bleu is the speciality, served about 10 different ways and was simply superb. Do yourself a favour when in Zurich...visit Egg and Einsiedeln and this gem of a restaurant.

The Haflingerstübli at Frühboden 2 is located in Egg SZ. It is a very rustic and hearty Stübli with various fondues and specialties such as Cordon Bleu's. Good parking with lots of space. The Stübli was clean and the owner and service were very friendly. Toilet is also available. We had the Fondue Chinoise with homemade sauces and bouillon. I was given an extra portion of vegetables and the other side dish was French fries. The food was very tasty! I can recommend it to anyone who wants to eat rustic and delicious food. Thank you very much

There is rarely such warm and genuine hospitalitythe food is fresh and very well prepared, thank you that something like that still exists

The Haflingerhof is an absolutely amazing place! I was impressed by the warm hospitality and the great food. The view is also wonderful.
