On March 24th I had breakfast at Hambos: poached eggs, bacon and hotcakes. Where do I start. I hate posting reviews like this because the staff and food there is extremely great. However, today was not so great. Shortly after eating there, about 2 hrs later when I went to Great Lakes crossing in Auburn Hills, my headed started hurting so bad and I found it unusual. When I got in the mall, I had terrible diarrhea. I went to the gas station and bought a Tylenol and it managed the headache. While heading home back to Hazel Park, I began feeling queasy and had to pull over where I vomited all over the sidewalk. The diarrhea persisted for about 45 minutes. All in all my symptoms dissipated 2 hrs...
I absolutely adore this coney island restaurant. My family and I have been dining here for many years. The soups, especially the chicken lemon rice, are fantastic, and they offer a delicious breakfast menu. I can't get enough of their mozzarella sticks, and the Greek salad is always a delicious option. And of course, their coney dogs and cheese fries are a must-try. I make sure to order almost every Saturday. I highly recommend this place.

My girlfriend and I came here for a late luch/brunch today. EVERYTHING was EXCELLENT! I had the country fried steak breakfast and the girlfriend had the grilled chicken salad. Prices are more than fair and the service/staff very good. We have found a new favorite Sunday go to restaurant!
I had a wonderful breakfast at this restaurant. They have a wide variety of items on the menu. The service was excellent and the food was served promptly. You don't need to have a hangover to appreciate the delicious food they offer.
I adore this restaurant. Since returning to Ferndale, it has become my go-to spot for breakfast. The service is excellent, the restaurant is clean, and the food is always consistent. What more could you ask for?
Small, clean, classic Coney island. Friendly staff, nice views of Woodward.They have limited hours. If they could staff late at night (especially after bars close on weekends) they'd make a killing.

Very affordable and very quick service! All the waitresses are very welcoming and sweet, and the food is awesome! The owner Peter gives out free icecream and it’s a great place to visit with family.
The only reason I didn't give it five stars is the limited hours.
