I lived around a lot of Portagese restaurants. I have to say this place Horrible food. I order out to go so I didn't dine inside for inside dining review. My rice was very dry no flavor. I ordered a whole chicken and beef ribs combo as someone left a reviewbecause supposedly feeds a family of 4, so I went by that. Horrible to my surprise I paid 38 bucks but 3% which was 40.09because I use my credit card. Only to get half a chicken only 4 little pieces and 2 beef ribs. Really not coming back here frieswas soggy and though the chicken was okay the beef ribs had no flavor. Not for a family of 4 who loves meat. OMG Same EXACT thing here! AND $10 more for same order months ago! I know prices went up but it?s not justified when service BBQ sauce is not given all a BBQ spot you?re told you have to ask for it? Are you kidding me????? just read someone?spost that read, ?I ordered a combo, no plates, no silverwar, no napkins, no sauces! When I got back to the place to pick allthat up...the answer was You have to ask for it How am I suppose to eat? With my fingers? NEVER AGAIN! SORRY PLACE!
The food is just okay. I go to this restaurant mainly for convenience, but the one in Bound Brook is far superior. Here, the food is passable, but I wouldn't call it delicious—I've definitely had better elsewhere. Everything could use a little more seasoning; the yellow rice honestly tastes like it's from a box and is quite bland. I usually have to add my own seasoning to everything once I'm home.
I like my chicken not cooked so dry but yet done and so far I've been purchasing it from this restaurant it has been right on point the yellow rice taste good sometime I substitute for French fries if you're looking for a good meal that's going to staywith you stop by you won't regret it

I knew when I got in, I hit the jackpot! The first time here and the smell of fresh BBQ chicken on the grill brought me back many years. I ordered a Flounder sandwich and ancillary order from plan owners. So fresh, so delicious. This is my new goal!
You will not be disappointed. I usually order the chicken and beef ribs platter and it?s enough for our family of four (and we are not small people). The food is always hot and flavorful, the meat is always cooked to perfection and moist.
As you drive down the road, the enticing aroma draws you in. The warm service and friendly smiles welcome you inside. And the food? It’s so good that it keeps bringing you back for more.
Food is Fire I always get the 1/2 BBQ Chicken. A friend introduced me to this 15 years ago. I had been coming here every since. Especially when I in the Somerset area.

Have been coming here for year. They always load you up with plenty of delicious food. Staff is very friendly. Could not recommend more!!
It's too much rice and lettuce and not so many meat and chicken. Try balancing those. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
