The restaurant offers free roadside parking next to the kiosk. The menu is extensive, offering traditional pasties, crab sandwiches, cream teas, ice creams, cakes, as well as more modern Mediterranean options like wraps and salads. The quality of the produce coming from such a small kitchen is impressive. It can get very busy during peak times, but it's worth the wait. It's a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll along the concrete promenade below. The free parking is a huge advantage compared to other expensive locations. The setting is calm with views of St. George's Island and the Atlantic Ocean. You could eat lunch here every day for weeks and choose something different each time.
I have been wanting to try out this kiosk for a long time (years!!) so it was nice to see that they now accept card payments. The kiosk was very busy, but the staff were friendly and helpful. The prices for the food were very reasonable, and our order ended up being much cheaper than it would have been elsewhere. The cakes were delicious and the savory scones were heavenly. I especially appreciated that the kids' hot chocolate was priced fairly, it's great to see a business that is not taking advantage of children. For all of these reasons, we will definitely be supporting this business again. We loved it!
The restaurant at Hannafore offers beautiful views and fantastic food. Despite being called a "kiosk," they serve excellent salads with delicious homemade potato salad, pulled pork, feta, roasted vegetables, fish chowder, scones, sandwiches, cakes, ice cream, and more. It's definitely worth a visit just for the kiosk alone, not to mention the spectacular views and lovely, dog-friendly beach. The restaurant is open all year round, and you can also take the Looe Land Train if you'd rather not walk uphill.
We have visited here many times for the very best ice cream, always a highlight of the day for me, especially after a long walk. Staff are always friendly, good service. Today I decided to bring home a crab baguette for my supper, I asked them to wrap it well for me, which they did. It was amazing, full of crab, very tasty, no bits of nasty shell, I shall certainly do that again Réservez une table maintenant
Usually have a coffee when we come to Hannafore for a walk, but yesterday as it was lunch time we purchased a chunky sandwich each, they were absolutely delicious, good fillings I had tuna my husband had ham salad) great value for money, will definitely be back. Thank you, brilliant food and brilliant sevice.
