Happy At The Bay Teriyaki

I've been frequenting this place since it opened. The food is consistent and good. Portion sizes compatible to most Teryaki restaurants. Inside is small always a table open. Since most order are pickup/takeout. The orders (taken by phone) for pick up have been consistently wrong! Last four orders there's such a rush to get off the phone, order are not repeated back and when asked obvious irritation, doesn't ask a name, doesn't give you a ready time. Today two meals were ordered, upon arrival we immediately knew there was an issue since there was only one box. Only one meal was made. This restaurant used to be delicious, but now the food is horrible and dry. I'm not sure if there are new owners or cooks, but I won't be returning here again. Fortunately, Wild Ginger a quarter mile away is amazing now. I'm glad Happy at the Bay is not good, because Wild Ginger is fantastic!

I’ve come here for years and the service has gotten progressively worse. There’s a noticeable difference in how people of color are treated versus White people. Unfortunately due to the rude staff who completely ignore their customers and are blatantly racist, I won’t be returning.

Ordered the teriyaki and short rib combo…ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Really good quality meat here. Good portion. And she brought out extra salad dressing. Highly recommend if you’re on the hunt for good teriyaki. Réservez une table maintenant

I ordered the General Tso's chicken and it was delicious. The sauce was flavorful and the chicken was tender. The rice was light and fluffy, and the salad dressing from this restaurant is top-notch!

I got a katsu chicken from here and it was literally burnt it was so chewy it tasted like beef jerky.I tried to eat it but it was gross.I don’t think I will be going back to this teriyaki joint.

I ordered the wok combo with chicken and sesame chicken. The sauce was delicious and the chicken was tender. It seems like they use chicken breast for the breaded pieces, which I appreciated.

Chicken Teriyaki and Gyoza chicken was over cooked and drenched and sauce. Salad was sad and tasteless. Might retry, it’s nice when owners listen and adapt. Réservez une table maintenant

Really good food I normally get the salmon teriyaki the only thing is that it is pretty pricey but over all great place totally recommend

Found a dead roach in the restroom after ordering. I had to cancel my order. I can't imagine what the kitchen looks like.
