We searched for age groups for a new Chinese takeaway after our previous going to local operation on a minimum order fee £25) and delivery fee beaten. For two people who are not always feasible. The food from cheerful gourmet is delicious, consistent and good value. Lives throughout the country and this Takeaway comes in our Top 3 from all the different Chinese Takeaways we have tried.

Happy gourmet is the best Chinese in Chelmsford. I accidentally ordered a night because the cheapest delivery fee was fair. Food always comes very hot and delicious. All applications for removed or added ingredients are always submitted. Can't be guilty. Even encouraged others I know to order from happy gourmet and all very happy and carry on ordering from you guys. WORK

I collected the food as I am staying in a nearby hotel. The food was amazingly tasty, hot and fresh. It tasted just like a takeaway I used in London for many years before it closed. If ever I stay in Chelmsford again I will definitely be back to the Happy Gourmet.

This is one of our favorite Chinese takeaways in Chelmsford. The chicken balls are great, were always fresh when ordered and the Batter chicken ratio is perfect!

Love their food as I always order outliers from them. I've been her patron for so many years. Staff are very polite and their service is top notch.
