Edit: I went back in May 2023 and they had a vegan menu! I had 6 options to choose from in the Thai inspired menu and ordered them all—the food was phenomenal! If you are looking for a special experience with great food, Try it out! Previous review: There were no vegan options on the menu, a couple vegetarian, but most dishes had meat added in some way. I asked the server about vegan options and three dishes could be veganized. I ordered all three modified to be vegan— a garlic flatbread, carrots, and beets. I give this place 3 stars because the food I had was phenomenal, but previous reviews were misleading. there were no vegan options on the menu, a few vegetarian, but most dishes had meat added in some way. Oh my goodness! Easily my favorite meal in Des Moines. We went for happy hour and I couldn't be happier. The service was great, every one was so nice! I thought portion sizes were great for the price. Food quality was amazing. If you go and don't get the steamed buns you're doing it wrong! Overall I would highly recommend going here especially for happy hour! I can't wait to go back.

You definitely feel that there is intention behind each dish and in creating a beautiful and welcoming space! Our server was well-informed about the menu and went out of her way to help with questions related to food sensitivities. The dishes were beautiful and so flavorful. We visited this restaurant for my birthday, where the menu consists of small plates that are usually ordered in sets of 3-4. A substantial 30% of the plates offered are either vegetarian or vegan. The food was delicious, and the staff was friendly and attentive.
