We waited for an hour and a half for our food because the chef had walked out. There was only one chef working in the kitchen, leading to long wait times. The restaurant offered a 50% discount on mains to compensate for the delay, but we eventually decided to ask for a refund as our meal had not even been started. The lack of communication from the staff about the situation was disappointing. The price range per person was £10-20, but the food and service were rated as 1 out of 5, while the atmosphere was rated as 2 out of 5.
Only issue was the wait. I was informed before I ordered, but they should've said no. I waited 45 mins for my starter, then a further 1 hr for my main course. Food was excellent, beer was reasonably priced, pub was immaculate, service was excellent. Only spoiled by the waiting. Better to have lost a potential customer than to serve one who won't be happy. Went to a charity evening to support Mens Mental Health. A great evening superbly organised by Molly, ably assisted by Cad and AJ. Huge amount of money raised and a great night had by all. Fab entertainment provided and we are blown away by the generosity of local people and businesses for the support they have shown. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

It's always been a popular bar/restaurant. Good food although not a great vegan option. The staff are spot on and it's very clean. Well worth a visit and plenty of parking spaces. I recently enjoyed drinks with my colleagues at this restaurant. The cost per person was between £20-£30. The service was top-notch and I would rate it a 5. The atmosphere was also pleasant, earning it a 4 rating.
Out with the girls for tea last night. Ordered off the Xmas menu and the pate was amazing ! Busy and lively atmosphere so stayed for the quiz. All in all a lovely evening Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The staff is wonderful, the atmosphere is great, and the food is excellent value for money. Overall, it was superb.
