Hartington Farm Shop And Cafe

I can 't comment on the food unfortunately. We passed through today and saw the cafe was open until 4pm according to the Christmas Opening Times hung on the door. My partner and I and our two young children took a seat in the cafe, we waited for a few moments but no one came over. I went to the counter and asked the lady if they were still servicing food, she replied no we are not and we DO close in 20 minutes (it was 3:08). There were still a lot of customers drinking and finishing their meals in the cafe and more coming in. I understand that maybe hot food wasn 't available but there is a way of communicating with people which the wider world calls 'customer service '. There was no offer o...

We absolutely enjoyed our visit to the Farm Shop and Café. It was great to see a variety of local produce available, and everything we tried was delicious. We ordered an iced caramel coffee, an iced chai latte, and a slice of sticky toffee fudge cake, all of which were delightful! The cake was incredibly moist and fresh, and the drinks were very refreshing. The interior decor is lovely, resembling a transformed farm or barn, making it a really charming café.

Wonderful establishment serving a huge variety of home cooked food from local suppliers at reasonable prices. Very welcoming staff in relaxing environment. Open on New Year's Day ... a bonus to our Advanced Motorcycle Group on New Year's Day Ride. Thank you Hartington Farm Shop and Cafe, fantastic establishment.

Walking Group visited, majority of food was excellent with large choice of cakes, however two cheese scone experts were disappointed with the said scones, little no cheese but tasted of sweet plain scone. Overall worth a visit as staff were excellent however avoid cheese scones unless recipe amended! Réservez une table maintenant

Had breakfast here twice during our stay and it was delicious. Very good quality meat and fast service for a good price. Very comfortable atmosphere and also a nice shop for some chutneys or other farm shop items. Definitely worth a visit.

Farmy type shop leading into a superb cafe area. Great display of sweet offerings, not an overly extensive menu, but really, really good quality food and service to match. Popular with hikers, it's busy even midweek.

This is a lovely café with a spacious and inviting atmosphere, including outdoor seating. It's conveniently located next to the footpath, making it an ideal spot to start or end a walk through the fields!

I only stopped in for a hot chocolate and a millionaire shortbread, but everything was great, and I was pleased with the service.
