The older lady with short hair behind the bar gave us a lovely welcome, but once we were seated at our table, it was clear that the staff was overwhelmed. Issues with every meal arose, including cold and awful vegan options. Some dishes were brought to us by mistake, while others took a long time to arrive. We decided to give this restaurant another chance despite previous experiences of cold food and poor service, with the exception of Abby. We were still left feeling disappointed after this visit. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome from Glenn. It seems that the manager could learn a thing or two from him. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. We ate from the Festive Menu on a Sunday lunchtime. It promised a lot but delivered very little. The King Prawn Cocktail starter was a disaster prawns were chewy and had clearly been frozen and microwaved. Terrible starter. The Sweet Potato, Chestnut and Cranberry Bake was like a large piece of stuffing and totally underwhelming, the roast potatoes were okay with a nice coating but small in size and number, and the vegetables were dire. Our waiter Glenn at shorehouse shoebury was excellent.. very on the ball and very prompt to take our order when he knew we were ready. All our food was very nice. The only negative comment I have which has no reflection on Glenn’s service is the salad cart. This is another time I went in and the salad cart was half empty and I had to say to a staff member to fill it up.

Thought I would give shorehouse another chance. Its actually got worse. Jacket potato rock hard how they thought this was cooked is beyond me. Chicken was warm not hot corn cold. Thats the last time I go to this restaurant. Even all the good staff that used to there have gone. Last of the old staff was leaving today.
Not only was the food fantastic, the atmosphere was wonderful and it was great meeting Santa and Mrs. Santa. But the gest thing about tge experience was our lovely server Glenn. Nothing was too much trouble! He was a complete STAR!
I went there for Christmas dinner again second year and I will definitely go back the food was amazing the staff was amazing us as a family had a lovely time thank you team shorehouse I will definitely see you next Christmas
Despite having receipt to show we were customers, europark insist we pay £100 fine for not entering our registration. I displayed my disabled badge and didnt realise we also had to enter reg. Fuming.

The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and the salad bar was impressive. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it an ideal spot for family dinners.
Great friendly efficient service by Liam our server. Wednesday night early dinner. Good tasty food.
