I had dinner in Haus Langhardton 9th Dec. with family and friend because it is near my company. At beginning it was ok, and my two-years-old daughter got a baby chair. Unfortunately, we soon became the only table of that night and the waiters kept staring at us. They interrupted us 4-5 times to stop my daughter touching things from restaurant: my daughter looked up at a decoration they stopped her very rude. But she is that small even cannot reach it. There was an empty table beside us. To prevent any damage, I already took away all the cutlery and plates. But when my daughter approached table with nothing on it, the waiters came very angry and annoyed, saying, she is not allowed to touch it...
Holiday Inn Ratingen is an airport hotel that doesn't serve food during the afternoon. How strange... This prompted a good walk into the village to find Haus Langhardt, which has a somewhat unassuming exterior, but is warm and welcoming inside and the food served is excellent. The staff had no English but I got what I was expecting from the menu using my very poor German and the atmosphere with the staff was both friendly and the service extremely good. Very good value for money. I will return.
Gone to almost all Greek in the past couple of years. I've been eating here at least once per year for 10 years. No more. Food was not that good. Staff was surly. Asked for English menu. NO!! Was the emphatic answer. Asked if the waiter or bartender spoke a English. Again, an emphatic NO!! From both. German or Greek only!!!Just isn't the same. Why put up with poor service only to receive mediocre food. Bye bye!
This was the only restaurant we found near our hotel and it was a very big and nice surprise !!!Very big portions and so tasteful.Service a little long that's the reason not 5 but a strong 4.If ever I go back to Düsseldorf sure I'll eat here again.Cheap and very very tasty and impossible to finish your plat !!!

Excellent restaurant , typical German. On the inside a bit dated but very good service and excellent food.We had a a short walk about 15 mins from our hotel, Relexa AirPort . Well worth it as there is not a great deal in the area. Good selection on the menu, a bit of German and a bit of Greek.
I like these old style traditional German eating places. Its the real thing, not tourist junk. This place takes care to serve quality - but does so in the farmhouse manner that makes traditional German food so hearty with a few beers. Rcommended.
Called in on spec for dinner on the way to the airport... Lovely seasonal white asparagus with wiener schnitzel and a gorgeous sauce... Very tasty and good local food
We are visiting from Florida and our waiter Mido was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and the snail appetizers were fantastic!!

Really good food! Nice people and good service. Good value for money. The beer garden is ideal for nice summer evening dinner.
Excellent prices and great food. Visited by locals. Waiters very attentive and gave me a free schnapps after my meal.
