The Heid ́s is not in the centre of Heidelberg, but is easily accessible on foot or by car (parking). A reservation is recommended only if you want to sit outside. We went spontaneously there and were lucky to have another table free. After a little longer waiting time, we were assigned to it. The surprise when entering the restaurant has succeeded, very nice ambience inside and outside. Friendly welcome and table assigned. Operation very friendly and unobtrusive. We were in a group of 8 people. Without exception, everyone was thrilled with food, appetizers like skin. All meals came almost at the same time and were excellent from Garpunkt, the Steaks. Is not very cheap but quality and service are of all value. We like to come back.
Was there for the first time with my wife today. The ambience is very beautiful and unusual. The food was great. We ordered both cattle fillets. I have to say it was the best meat I've ever eaten. Very delicate. The prices have it in themselves, but it's really worth every cent. We'll be back guaranteed.
