When our food arrived, it was indeed incorrect—my plate had only scrambled eggs and toast, while my boyfriend's order was complete. I returned mine and informed the waitress that it wasn't what I had ordered. She came back saying she thought I had only asked for scrambled eggs. I reminded her that I specifically ordered the Rise N Shine Mofo. It was astonishing how such a straightforward menu item could be misunderstood so drastically. Eventually, I received my correct order, but the trouble simply wasn't worth it. Our water was refilled only once, and we were left without drinks until we finished eating because the waitress didn't check on us again. I'm conflicted about how to rate this p...

The third concerning indication was the smell; the entire place had an odor reminiscent of a restroom, even though the actual bathrooms were surprisingly clean and new. The venue had a somewhat divey atmosphere, located in a basement, which contributed to a sketchy feeling. However, we were both quite hungry, so we decided to give it a try. I ordered the tosta mista, a pressed ham and cheese sandwich, topped with a cheese that had an unusual flavor that I did not enjoy. The highlight of my meal was probably the generous side salad that accompanied it. My boyfriend chose the eggs benedict, which was unremarkable at best and didn't even look appealing. Since I probably won't be in this area...

The decor was striking, combining vintage charm with modern pin-up art. The owner has clearly invested a lot of thought into the details, including the creative names of the dishes and drinks, and there was even a nod to the NJ Devils hockey team. A talented bartender had crafted a stunning mosaic centerpiece currently for sale at $8,000. The bathroom was clean, which is always a bonus, and even the restaurant's flyers reflected high-quality design. If I lived in Newark, NJ, I would definitely return to this highly-rated bar and lounge, especially with burlesque shows on Thursdays! The service was a bit slow due to the crowd, but our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Overall, it...

We returned to this restaurant after a long time and were delighted to find a spacious bar counter, which makes it easy to grab a seat when the place isn’t too busy. There are also dining tables available. I give it high marks for its impressive selection of bourbon, whiskey, and scotch. The bartender was friendly and patient, helping us navigate the different bourbon options, and the drinks were expertly crafted. Their beer selection is also quite good. However, the food was somewhat disappointing. While the menu featured some interesting options, the flavors were average and could use some enhancement. I've definitely had better bar food elsewhere. They also offer a spicy Bloody Mary, which is one of my favorites. The drink prices are fair, and the beer selection, including rotating guest taps, is excellent. I haven’t tried the cocktails yet, but their drinks menu is extensive, so if you enjoy mixed drinks or stronger spirits, you'll definitely find something you like. If you're in the area during lunchtime, be sure to take advantage of their $7 lunch special. If I worked nearby, this would absolutely be my go-to lunch spot. Overall, I don't have much more to say—just visit Hell's Kitchen Lounge! You won't regret it!

If you’re a fan of Banana Kings in Elizabeth, Union City, NYC, you’re going to really enjoy their sandwich. The bread is perfectly toasted—not too thick—and it has just the right amount of grilled chicken. It’s called the blackened chicken sandwich, and it packs a nice little spicy kick along with a generous helping of chicken. I added mayonnaise to mine for that extra Banana King flair! Haha. The sweet potatoes were outstanding too. This place has a cozy dive bar vibe reminiscent of Ironbound. I usually like to sip on a Lagunitas here. Plus, the prices are very reasonable!

I went to this restaurant for a comedy night on a Tuesday, and I had a wonderful time! The comedians were fantastic, and the ambiance was lovely with nice dim lighting. I noticed there were poles in the venue, which made me wonder if they host strippers or other types of shows on different nights. The service was a bit on the slow side, though; when I asked the waiter about Wi-Fi, he shrugged and said he didn't know without even attempting to find out for me. Despite that, I had a great evening and I'm curious to check out the vibe at other events they host.

I've been to this restaurant before, but this time, the first thing I noticed was a sign stating that the credit card machine was out of order. Because of that, I could only order drinks with the small amount of cash I had on hand. The bartender's service was just average. I was with a large group, and one of the girls ordered chicken nachos, but she found them unappetizing mainly because each chip had a big dollop of sour cream on top. Overall, the dish didn't look very appealing. Réservez une table maintenant

Upon entering, you'll notice a pole positioned right at the entrance. There are several tables set up in front of the stage, while the remaining seating is located towards the back by the bar. The burlesque show usually starts shortly after 10 PM on Thursday nights. The dancers were incredible, and we thoroughly enjoyed the performance. The staff was attentive, and the drink prices were very affordable. All in all, it's an entertaining spot to visit if you're nearby!
