This was my first time ordering from this restaurant, and I opted for takeout. A coworker highly recommended it, and since I’ve never tried Afghan cuisine before, I was excited! I have to say, it was incredible! I ordered the Lamb Lawand, and it was so tender that it practically fell apart. The rice was bursting with flavor, and the spinach was exceptional! Plus, there was plenty of bread! The entire meal was absolutely delicious. When I picked up my order, the staff was friendly and courteous, and the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. Overall, it was an excellent experience! I can't wait to order again and explore more items on the menu!
We had previously ordered from this restaurant online twice and enjoyed the food so much that we decided to visit in person! The food is absolutely incredible, accommodating a variety of diets including pescatarian, vegetarian, and pork-free options. I highly recommend the vegetarian special for anyone looking to enjoy flavorful, authentic Afghan cuisine without meat! The “Our Cake” and “bucklawa” are both outstanding as well. If you happen to visit while Kate is working there, definitely ask for her as she was our waitress and did a fantastic job! I will be recommending this restaurant to friends and family in the area. Food was delicious, service was attentive, and the place was very pleasant before two large groups came in, about 15 minutes apart. Then the noise was deafening, as all the walls are bare [painted a lovely buttery/golden yellow, but noise simply bounces across hard surfaces] I really do not enjoy shouting at a dinner partner who is sitting just across a small table for two. So I recommend going early we arrived at 6 on a Thursday evening; next time I'd start even earlier to avoid the cacophony that arrives by 6:45. Would not even consider trying to dine there on a weekend. Younger folks don't seem to mind the nose, perhaps even relish it.
I had my first visit to this restaurant and was truly impressed. The atmosphere and music create a cool vibe, and the Afghani food is both delicious and authentic. The staff is friendly, with Hamayoun, our host, being particularly amazing and helpful in recommending fantastic dishes. I will definitely return to this spot whenever I’m in Boston.

The food, service and ambiance is so refined and excellent. My son and I sat outside and each shared our own superb appetizers eggplant and kado pumpkin . He had the lovely sea bass, and I savored my lamb dwopiaza. Everything was terrific, and Kate was a wonderful waitress. I would highly recommend others to dine here.
Amazing food! The place has a nice ambience and good service, however, the food is simply amazing. I had the CHAPENDAZ, The meat was excellent and then there was like this pumpkin puree on top of cabbage which was also amazing. I had the rice pudding for dessert, absolutely delicious.
Great afghan food, a must try if you’re interested in something different. Pretty similar to Iranian food, and I think it’s slightly pricy for what you get but rice is filling and the seasoning is unique and on point
The food was incredibly delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We will certainly return the next time we are in the area.
