We stumbled upon Helmand while working in the area and have come back daily since.The food is actually very, very, good. The beef Tikka (cubed beef) for example, is made of high quality beef and is cooked just right. Had it multiple days and its always very juicy, cooked perfectly, and seasoned right. Like eating mini professionally cooked steaks. Afghani styled naan bread comes with most platters and it too is delicious and different than the naan you might get at the grocery store. Dropped in around 4:00 on a Sat afternoon Thinking it would be quiet. Couldn't believe the number of family , meal preorders and takeouts that were going on. Food wait went from ten to nearly thirty minutes while I was there. Obviously this is popular place! Ordered the chicken kofta Laban with rice and it was ready in under fifteen minutes. Best meal under $10 this year Chicken was well seasoned and came with a side citrusy sauce that was killer. Huge portion for the price and the rice was darn near perfect. This place is amazing! From the friendly owners to the hot, fresh, flavourful food. We were traveling from out of town and were starving. Looked to TripAdvisor for recommendations. We were amazed at the customer service and the amount of food we got for the price. I only ate 1/2 of my meal and just finished the other half just now-and it was just as amazing. Be sure to get the naan with the "green sauce"! It's like a spicy cilantro dip that I will be craving tomorrow I'm sure

Came for weeknight takeout and was blown away. Tried the bolani and it was sublime. I've had potato in naan before and had some expectation but this far surpassed it. It was soft and crispy in all the right places. Adding the spicy homemade chutney was perfection. They're really nice people as well, there's a really good vibe in the place. They don't just have pizza! All though that's what we had yesterday. Very good pizza! I have had the kabab and other dishes. The staff are great at helping you decide what to have from the interesting meals.

Tried the chicken kofta kebab meal which came with rice, salad, and homemade naan. It was all so good and the portions are super generous. Still can't stop thinking about the bread, it was amazing!
